Serent Capital Portfolio Company Next Gear Solutions Acquires Luxor CRM

San Francisco, CA – January 25, 2017 — Serent Capital, a leading San Francisco-based private equity firm focused on investing in growth technology and service businesses, announced that its portfolio company Next Gear Solutions has acquired Luxor CRM, Inc. The acquisition combines Next Gear’s leading job management software with Luxor’s robust CRM capabilities built specifically for the restoration industry.         

The addition of Luxor CRM furthers Next Gear’s vision of offering a broad suite of solutions for restoration contractors to manage and grow their businesses.  “Luxor CRM has had a profound impact on the effectiveness of sales teams working in the referral-driven environment of restoration sales and marketing,” said Garret Gray, founder and CEO of Next Gear Solutions. “I believe that combining Luxor’s talent and technology with Next Gear’s will benefit the entire industry.”  Lukas Szczurowski, founder of Luxor CRM, will be joining the Next Gear team.

This is Next Gear’s second acquisition in the past twelve months.  Next Gear acquired ClientRunner in July 2016.
