Optimal Blue is a leading provider of enterprise lending software as a service (SaaS) to the mortgage industry. At time of investment, Optimal Blue derived the majority of revenue from its Product Eligibility and Pricing Services, the company’s original product and core offering.


  • As part of the investment launch process, management worked with Serent to devise a long-term product roadmap strategy
  • This included the development of new products such as Data & Analytics, Investor and Compliance services, both of which uniquely leverage Optimal Blue’s robust data asset and position in the mortgage origination value chain


By adding a number of new, highly complementary services to its suite of offerings, Optimal Blue strengthened its customer value proposition. New services also allowed Optimal Blue to diversify its revenue and expand the size of its addressable market
