In September 2011, Serent invested in the premier provider of Digital Marketing and Lead Management Solutions for local insurance agencies. Founded in 2006, the Company was able to grow revenues by 125%+ in the year prior to Serent's investment, outperforming the rest of the market by over three times.
The Company's substantial growth has been the result of the efforts of the Company's leadership team, composed of digital marketing veterans, and its comprehensive, integrated, industry-tailored solution. The Company offers products and services that enable its customers to make significant gains in increasing the number of new policies they sell, in increasing their multi-line cross-sell rate, and in increasing policy renewal rates. These unique products and services, combined with the Company's focus on the local insurance agent market, have allowed the Company to differentiate itself from its competitors.
Serent invested alongside the original founding and executive team members, all of whom are continuing in full-time roles after the transaction. Serent is working closely with the executive team to support further growth by building out the management team and enhancing the Company's efforts in product development, customer account management, financial planning and marketing.
Serent has recruited a Board member for the Company who will bring a wealth of insurance experience: a former McKinsey & Company Director with over 25 years of experience consulting in the insurance industry.
